Aisha Sarwari has 20 years of professional experience with a focus on corporate affairs. She previously served as the Senior Director at Coca-Cola for Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability for the Pakistan and Afghanistan region. She is a San Jose State University Deans Scholar in Media. She has leadership experience with USAID, USIP, World Bank, Adam Smith International, UNCTAD, VEON / Jazz, CNN, NPR, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Board of Investment Pak, and DFID.
She is also an author and a public speaker, a women’s rights advocate and the co-founder of the NGO Women’s Advancement Hub. Her opinions have appeared in Dawn, The Express Tribune, the BBC, Al Jazeera, The Economist, The Guardian and NPR. Her recent book on the economics of caregiving is published by Penguin and Hurst and is featured at number four on the gender rights category on Amazon.
